Punk!EnglandxSinger!Reader
(Edit: This song isn't Savior by Skillet OR by Black Veil Brides! I'm sorry! It's Savior by Rise Against! *goes to corner of shame*

You were reading your favourite book at the coffee shop near your house, and realized you had made a mistake coming there. Not knowing there was a Rock Band competition happening today on the café stage, the place was crowded with teenagers from your school. The ones you did not want to see outside of that place.

You tried to concentrate on your book, but finally put it down on the table in defeat. It was too loud for your taste, but you tried not to let it bring down your mood. As you observed your perimeter, your eyes made its way to the stage. Yeah, the drummer was good. The guitarists were awesome too. But, oh god, that singer.

That singer was tone deaf.

As the song finished, the audience around the stage cheered for everyone but the singer, as you assumed. For about a half hour, you watched people come onto the stage, and play the drums and guitar, but nobody used the microphone. You were just aching to get your hands onto it and scream your heart out to a rock song, but you weren't willing to embarrass yourself in front of your classmates.

Just as you were about to leave the café, three really hot guys walked onto the stage. The guy who went straight to the drums had sandy blonde hair with a strange cow lick sticking out, and glasses over his blue eyes. The bassist had a darker blonde hair colour with a curl sticking out from the top, glasses framing his purple eyes. The two almost looked like brothers. But what really caught your eye was the main guitarist. Piercing green eyes, messy blond hair, and when he spoke to introduce himself, a sexy British accent. He was wearing a torn shirt with the UK flag literally painted on, under his leather jacket. His tattered jeans folded slightly at the bottom, revealing his paint-splatter converse. A plaid red and black bandana hung loosely around his neck, with a studded belt around his waist, just loose enough not to look like a gangster.

Before they were to pick a song, the host walked onto the stage. He had shoulder length wavy blonde hair, and blue eyes. "Mon amies, we need a singer for zhis next performance. Will anybody volunteer?" He asked hopefully through the mic. You took this chance to get a quick get away out of the coffee shop.

"Ohonhonhon, you! Right zhere!" The host shouted into the microphone. You haulted. Slowly you turned around to face the stage, pointing at yourself.

"Me?"

"Oui, you, come up and sing a little somezhing for us!" He said enthusiastically, motioning for you to come to the stage. Everyone was staring as you walked past them, mostly your classmates. Some whispered good lucks, as others just laughed at you with their friends. They obviously didn't know not to mess with you when it came to singing.

"Hello, love," the hot British guy said as you walk up the steps to the stage. The drummer saluted and the bassists simply waved and offered a friendly smile to you. "Hello," was all you managed to say.

You were playing a rock song, with 3 hot guys on stage, and an audience watching.

"Alright miss, I am Monsieur Bonnefoy, but you can call me Francis. Can you introduce yourself?" The host asked, handing you the mic. "Uhm, I'm (__f/n__)," you giggled. Behind you, the drummer whispered to the bassist, "wow, she's so cute~" You overheard and turned your head to the both of them, "thank you," you said into the microphone, giggling once more. "Alright, and can the three guys introduce themselves once more?" The host said before throwing the microphone to the drummer.

"I'm Alfred, but you can call me the hero~" He said winking at some of the girls in the audience, who cheered and whistled for him. Alfred passed the mic to the bassist.

"Hey everyone, I'm Matthew," He said somewhat shyly despite his almost-rock appearance. He handed the mic around to the main guitarist.

"Hello, lovelies. I'm Arthur Kirkland." He said with such a calm, hypnotic attitude. The audience cheered for all you, as he passed the mic back to the host.

"Alright, and the million dollar question. Est-ce que tu peux chanter?" Francis asked, handing you the mic once more. "Oui, mais est-ce que je dois chanter?" The host laughed at your response, and so did half of the French speaking audience. "You're right, Alfred, she is cute!" Francis laughed before handing you the mic for the last time and leaving the stage. You turned around to your new band members.

"Alright dudette, so what song do you want to play?" Alfred asked directly towards you. "You want me to choose?" You asked back in surprise. "Of course! you are the one singing it, so it's only fair to pick a song you know." Arthur assured. You shifted your feet around, "Alright then, let's play Saviour by Rise Against." Your three band members smiled, "That's got to be one of the best rock song out there," Matthew said softly. You all turned around to face the audience and selected your song, putting your difficulty level to expert, and so did Alfred, Matthew and Arthur.

"It kills me not to know this but I've all but just forgotten
What the color of her eyes were and her scars or how she got them
As the telling signs of age rain down a single tear is dropping
Through the valleys of an aging face that this world has forgotten

There is no reconciliation that will put me in my place
And there is no time like the present to drink these draining seconds
But seldom do these words ring true when I'm constantly failing you
Like walls that we just can't break through until we disappear

So tell me now
If this ain't love then how do we get out?
Because I don't know
That's when she said I don't hate you boy
I just want to save you while there's still something left to save
That's when I told her I love you girl
But I'm not the answer for the questions that you still have

But the day pressed on like crushing weights
For no man does it ever wait
Like memories of dying days
That deafen us like hurricanes
Bathed in flames we held the brand
Uncurled the fingers in your hand
Pressed into the flesh like sand
Now do you understand?"

By this point, you were screaming into the microphone and jumping around the stage with Arthur, pouring your heart into the song for everyone to hear.

"So tell me now
If this ain't love then how do we get out?
Because I don't know
That's when she said I don't hate you boy
I just want to save you while there's still something left to save
That's when I told her I love you girl
But I'm not the answer for the questions that you still have

1000 miles away
There's nothing left to say
But so much left that I don't know
We never had a choice
This world is too much noise
It takes me under
It takes me under once again
I don't hate you
I don't hate you, no

So tell me now
If this ain't love then how do we get out?
Because I don't know
That's when she said I don't hate you boy
I just want to save you while there's still something left to save
That's when I told her I love you girl
But I'm not the answer for the questions that you still have

I don't hate you
I don't hate you
I don't hate you
I don't hate you, no"

As the song finished, a loud cheering erupted from the crowd and all the band members checked out their scores on the screen.

Drummer – 99%
Bassist – 99%
Guitarist – 99%
Singer – 100%

"Wow, (__f/n__)! I never knew a person like you could sing like that! That was absolutely amazing!" Arthur exclaimed as you all walked off the stage.

"A person like me? What do you mean?" you asked laughing at his reaction. Alfred cut in before Arthur could say a word, "He means someone so hot and pretty, that likes rock songs." Alfred said, waggling his eyebrows a bit, making you laugh once more. Arthur slapped the back of Alfred's head, "s-shut up, wanker!" He stuttered. Now it was your turn to speak, "Well, you guys honestly play really well together!"

"Well yeah, we 'are' an actual band," Matthew replied. "O-Oh! I never knew that!" You said genuinely surprised.

"Yes," Arthur started, "a band who's still looking for a singer. Would you want to join us, perhaps?" He asked hopefully.

You mentally squealed and danced around, but nodded your head and smiled in real life.

"Hey, band! Vhere are you going? Come back on stage, and take a bow!" The host said, calling you back.

As you walked back to the stage, you slipped your hand into Arthur's, causing him to look down and blush. Not taking his hand away, he tighten his grip into yours.

You both bowed down together with Alfred and Matthew, and marked it down as the day of your formed band.
